      Female Infertility Treatments

      IVF

It is the most advanced process where insemination is to be done by combining the male’s sperm with female’s egg outside the body in a culture dish or test-tube under suitable condition in order to develop embryo. If IVF treatment is successful; the embryo will implant in the uterus and result in a pregnancy. Any remaining embryos can be frozen and stored for future use or donated to other couples. IVF can overcome most causes of male and female infertility. Embryos can also be cryopreserved (frozen and stored) to be used at a later time IVF is an effective treatment for a variety of male and female infertility conditions.

It is also referred as artificial insemination and recommended to those who have mild fertility problems. Around the time when ovary releases one or more eggs, the sperms are directly placed into the uterus to get one of the sperms meet the egg to result into embryo. The IUI treatment can occur during the natural cycle or, if required, a woman’s ovulation can be stimulated with an injection of human Chorionic Gonadotrophin (HCG) to induce the release of eggs.

      Needle- Free IVF

SNEH HOSPITAL is proud to present our fertility patients with access to a new, convenient, lower IVF cost, easy and pain-free approach to becoming pregnant. Needle-Free IVF is our more natural fertility treatment that gently stimulates the ovaries into producing multiple egg follicles through oral and nasal fertility medications. Research has proven that too many fertility drugs provided over the course of a Conventional IVF Cycle may be associated with poorer egg quality, thus making it harder to have a baby. As part of our commitment to a healthier and low-drug approach to in vitro fertilization, New Hope focuses on Mini IVF and Natural IVF to achieve pregnancy for less money and with less aggravation.

Mini-IVF, or minimal stimulation IVF, is an infertility treatment similar to standard IVF, but uses less medication to stimulate the woman’s ovaries. Because fewer eggs are retrieved and thus fewer chances for embryos to develop, mini-IVF is less effective than standard IVF. But it can be the better option for certain women, such as those with low ovarian reserve or those who are not comfortable with having frozen embryos. Mini-IVF is also significantly less expensive than standard IVF (in vitro fertilization) because it requires lower doses of costly medications and fewer office visits.

      Laser Assisted Hatching

Laser-assisted hatching is a scientific IVF technique that can make it easier for the embryo to “hatch” or breakthrough its outer layer or “shell” (a membrane also known as the zona pellucida) by creating an opening. In some situations, this layer is abnormally thick and/or hardened with the freezing and thawing process among the contributing factors. The less difficulty the embryo has in hatching, the better its chance of attaching or implanting into the wall of the uterus.

Embryo is developed in the laboratory until it reaches the blastocyst stage i.e., 5 days and later it is transferred to uterus of the woman. It narrows down the risk of multiple pregnancy. Blastocyst transfer is not suitable for everyone. It is a laboratory selection process to identify the best embryo. In patients with only 1 or 2 embryos the embryos have already selected themselves for transfer and there is no significant advantage to leaving them outside of the uterus for longer.

      GIFT

Multiple eggs are collected from the ovaries and place them with the sperm to be used. When resulting into embryo, it is transferred to the fallopian tube by surgical process. The fertilization technically takes place in the fallopian tube therefore it is less artificial compared to IVF.

It is used when there is blockage in the fallopian tube, Eggs are removed from the ovaries and combined it with the sperm to get zygote. That zygote is later transferred to the fallopian tube of woman by laparoscopy. The eggs are not fertilized in the fallopian tube but the fertilized egg is transferred to fallopian tube

      ZIFT

It is preferred by those who detest medicines and injections. Instead of that, it relies on natural development of the embryo. The process is alike IVF but with the less medications. For women considered “poor responders,” natural cycle IVF affords the opportunity to continue with the IVF process, even when ovarian stimulation has repetitively failed to produce multiple embryos. However, natural cycle IVF is not necessarily the recommended treatment for a “poor responder” if multiple ovarian stimulation is still possible. For couples with infertility due to male factor (low- or poor-quality sperm), natural cycle IVF can provide an opportunity for fertilization through ICSI and at the same time avoid multiple pregnancies and unnecessary stimulation for an otherwise fertile female partner.

Surrogacy is a highly complex process, and there are many important steps to ensure that both parties make the best decisions – including extensive counseling, psychiatric assessment and independent legal advice. It is a legal agreement between the intended parents (the one who are inefficient to have a baby of their own) and surrogate mother (the one who agrees to carry a baby in her own womb for the intended parents) but with the certain considerations.
